Cookie Policy
How Atheneum AI Consulting Ltd. uses cookies and similar technologies. Last updated: 11 June 2026.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to site owners.
We also use localStorage, a similar browser technology, to remember your preferences. The same rules apply to localStorage as to cookies under UK data protection law (PECR).
2. Cookies we use
We use only strictly necessary storage. We set no cookies and use no non-essential or analytics storage of any kind.
2a. Strictly Necessary
The only browser storage we use is essential for the website to function correctly:
Theme preference: stored in localStorage via next-themes. Remembers whether you prefer light, dark, or system theme. No personal data is collected and nothing is sent to any server. Retained until you clear your browser storage.
This storage does not require your consent because it is strictly necessary to provide the service you have requested, and so we do not display a consent banner.
3. Analytics
We do not use any analytics. We do not measure, profile, or track how visitors use the site, and we store no aggregated usage data.
4. Third-party cookies
We do not use any third-party cookies. We do not use advertising networks, social media tracking pixels, or cross-site analytics services such as Google Analytics.
Our fonts are self-hosted and do not make requests to external services.
5. Managing your preferences
Because we use only strictly necessary storage, there is nothing to opt out of. You can still clear or block this storage through your browser settings at any time. Please note that doing so may reset your theme preference on your next visit.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this cookie policy from time to time. If we ever introduce non-essential cookies or analytics, we will update this page and ask for your consent before setting them.
7. Contact
If you have questions about our use of cookies, please contact us at: Privacy@AtheneumAIConsulting.co.uk
